If you're Kimberly Williams-Paisley, the ultra cute actress who stole our hearts in Father of the Bride, this is a piece of cake. Not only did I risk the rain but I did something that it's forbidden for New Yorkers to do: I went to Times Square.

(www.FatGirlLovesCake.com) - Upon learning that the CAKE in FatGirlLovesCake is a metaphor for happiness, people always ask me: "What does CAKE mean to you?"

Generally, CAKE for me is truly cake (chocolate, caramel, etc.), but today CAKE means Mark Wahlberg. He's just such a darn cutie pie who wouldn't want to spend an afternoon with him? Throw in Will Ferrell and it's almost as good as homemade whip cream! 

I was invited to attend the premiere and given two tickets to see the film. Actually, I was invited to the private pre-event screening and given two tickets as well as two tickets to the premiere. I didn't need all four tickets, so I gave the pre-event screening tickets to a colleague who took his girlfriend. They vowed to name their first born after me because they loved the movie so much. So, good deed done for the weekend, I headed to see the premiere of Daddy's Home.

If you don't, you can't possibly have seen the epic performances by some of America's most talented singers, actors and dancers.


From David Alan Grier, who played the sexiest version of "The Lion" to Ne-Yo whose lip color had fashionistas like me searching the web for the exact shade to of course Shanice Williams, who portrayed a fierce shoe wearing "Dorothy," the fashion of The Wiz was on fleek.

(www.FatGirlLovesCake.com) - I was invited to the private meat tour by a fellow blogger on December 3, 2015. The tour featured a double decker bus that toured some of New York City's most prized meat shops and deli's including Katz Deli! In honor of the special occasion, I considered changing the name of my blog to "Fat Girl Loves MEAT" but I'm not a Kardashian and I didn't know if it would be taken wrong.

(www.FatGirlLovesCake.com) - Miley Cyrus did that! Yep, if you were lucky enough to attend the NYC premiere of Netflix's A Very Murray Christmas starring Bill Murray, Chris Rock, George Clooney and others, you know what I mean.

I was given tickets to the premiere at the Paris Theatre around the corner from Bergdorf's department story for the December 2, 2015 premiere. Of course, I really couldn't wait to see George Clooney. I was on the fence about Miley. She's been so out of control lately it's tough to watch her train wreck.
